Visiting CSEAS

All persons interested in visiting Berkeley to learn more about Southeast Asian Studies at the university should contact CSEAS. CSEAS can also provide contact information for faculty with specific expertise in Southeast Asian affairs for media representatives.

The Global Engagement Office is able to make arrangements for visitors and to discuss exchange agreements between UC Berkeley and other universities.

For visitors interested in the teaching program and language studies, the Department of South & Southeast Asian Studies is located in 7233 Dwinelle Hall, in central campus near Sather Gate.

The Center for Southeast Asia Studies is located in the Golden Bear building on University Ave., near the intersection with Milvia St.  Driving directions to campus, as well as information about public transportation options, can be found at the university's Visitor Services website. Campus parking options are outlined on the university's Parking and Transportation website, with information also about public parking in downtown Berkeley.
