Visiting CSEAS

All persons interested in visiting Berkeley to learn more about Southeast Asian Studies at the university should contact CSEAS. The Global Engagement Office is able to make arrangements for visitors and to discuss exchange agreements between UC Berkeley and other universities.

CSEAS can also provide contact information for faculty with specific expertise in Southeast Asian affairs for media representatives.

The Center for Southeast Asia Studies is located in the 2223 Fulton St. building on the UC Berkeley campus at the intersection of Kittredge and Fulton Streets. 

For visitors interested in the teaching program and language studies, the Department of South & Southeast Asian Studies is located in 7233 Dwinelle Hall, in central campus near Sather Gate. 

Driving directions to campus, as well as information about public transportation options, can be found at the university's Visitor Services website. Campus parking options are explained at the university's Parking and Transportation website, with information also about parking in public lots in downtown Berkeley.
